Trans fluid changed 8/30/23 along with rear differential fluid and transfer case oil.
Oil changed always at 50% life
Tuned on 91 and or e85
Original transmission went out at 60k miles. New GM trans was put in which cost me 4k. The transmission fluid bypass valve was also changed to the new one gm made, when they realized the issue, the old one was allowing the trans to get way too hot. It now opens up and cools at 160 degrees instead of 190/200 degrees.
Blew a lifter in cylinder 7 on 9/29/2023 at 115k. Had the entire top end of the motor rebuilt and dod/afm deleted. Has a 20k Mile or two year warranty, paperwork included. Total job was $5,800.00
Truck is currently at 124k miles.
This truck is mechanically solid now. Truck has another 120-200k miles of life without any fear of dod/afm or trans issues.
Cons- small tear in driver seat and tear in center console lid cover. Been meaning to replace it it’s only 140 bucks new just been lazy. Couple small paint chips which is common on all newer Chevrolets after 2013.
