1983 Don Blackman Fish Machine. I purchased this boat 2 years ago. I have taken it fishing offshore for bluefin tuna, dorado and yellowtail. It is a solid and rugged smaller platform to get you to local tuna grounds. When I purchased I rebuilt both carburetors, installed new water pump impeller, new timing belt, new spark plug wires, fluid changes, spark plugs, compression test on all cyl, approx 150 psi each, new batteries and bait well pump, I also installed new fuel lines to the tank and added a water separator filter. The fuel tank holds 80 gallons on gasoline. The engine is a Volvo penta aq145 4 cyl gasoline. It runs great as is.The boat has a built in live well forward of the center console. There is not a scratch on the outside of the hull it’s in almost perfect condition for the age of the boat. The trailer is fully galvanized and in great condition with no rust. I just installed a new jack stand on the trailer recently. I had intentions of getting an engine bracket and outboard installed on this boat to achieve more room under the deck where the existing engine sits to make a nice fish box. But I do not have time for such a project at the moment. There are many options to this vessel to update and add to.
With the deep v hull it cuts through the water nicely for a comfortable ride.
This is a perfect skiff for local lobster fishing, diving, or kelp bed fishing as well as getting you offshore.
