1986 Honda 350X
This is an original survivor, it is partially restored in that the tank was cleaned and re-painted. It has all original plastic. No cracks, no plastic welding, no zip ties holding it together. 1986 Honda 350X
This is an original survivor, it is partially restored in that the tank was cleaned and re-painted. It has all original plastic. No cracks, no plastic welding, no zip ties holding it together. The front fender is brand new NOS OEM fender. The rear is the original, just cleaned and re-stickered. As you can see this has the OEM mudflap which is attached (most cannot be attached as the fastener spots on the fender are pretty flimsy plastic which often broke). The top end was re-built to run on unleaded gas. Runs great as you can hear in the video. The frame was in such good shape that I decided not to repaint (trying to keep as original as possible) but it does have wear and tear scratches. I included a couple of pictures of the frame. This is not a museum piece, but a really nice original bike. The original forks were in pretty bad shape so they were replaced with brand new OEM forks, still in the box. The rear shock is rebuilt. This has the hard to find headlight guard as well as the brake reservoir guard (the only two options at the time of sale). Stock axle was in pretty bad shape so I replaced it with a period correct aftermarket axle with safety nut. Front rim and tire are correct original but rear rims and tires are aftermarket. Exhaust is stock and in good shape. Pink in hand and currently registered in California.
