2007 EXTREME PERFORMANCE DTD
Selling my Sand car that I have completely upgraded over the last 2 seasons. I wasn’t planning on ever selling it but I have a baby now and I won’t be able to use it as much as I would like and it would be just a waste sitting in my garage so hopefully someone can enjoy it as much as I have.
– The engine is a Redline Built stroked 440 LS7 high compression race engine. It’s 14:1 compression, Frankenstein Redline Performance edition heads, Carbon PTR intake manifold, all forged internals. Built with all the best stuff! This wasn’t a rebuild, it was completely new build that was $28k. I run Ignite Red E90 fuel used specifically for high compression engines. It can be tuned on pump E85. It made 630 WHP on Redlines dyno. They estimated 25-30 percent drivetrain loss so it’s in the neighborhood of 800 hp at the crank. I wanted a high reviving engine so everything was created around that including the custom built 8 into 1 stainless steel headers with 2 inch primaries. The sound of this engine running at 8,000 plus RPMs is insane!
-Holley Terminator X ECU, Ditigal Dash, custom wiring harness built by Redline, all tuning done by Redline
– PBS sequential 5 speed built by Dave McDowell with all Weddle internals, full size Chevy bellhousing with a Weddle 10.4 inch twin disc clutch and lightweight flywheel
– KATG full 3D Aluminum body, Radius cage and Roof just done last season
– All new King Race series bypasses 3.0 rear and 2.5 in front
– 17 inch DWT wheels, STU 36 sand blaster 2 paddels and STU Razor Master 12.5 in the front all with only a few trips on them so they are in perfect condition
-RBP 11 inch rotors and 4 piston brakes with only a few trips as well
-Rigid curved light bar, Baja Design side mirrors w/lights, blacked out rear LED tail lights
-Dual lighted 6′ 5150 whips
I’ve put a ton of money and time into this car and I hate to sell it. Every sand car is unique in its own way but this one is just different than everything else. There’s always a crowd around the car and if they don’t see you coming, they’ll hear you! I knew I wasn’t planning on building the fastest car out there but I was shocked how fast it is! The acceleration is instant and the power curve of the high reviving engine is perfect for a sand car. I would put money on it that it’s one of the fastest naturally aspirated cars out there!
