Up for sale is my long travel 2007 Toyota 4runner with the 4.0 v6. I love this car and I'm sure I'll absolutely regret selling it, but I bought a 6.2l Sierra so I'm selling off some of my toys. It is an absolute head turner and it gets compliments every single time I drive it.

Up for sale is my long travel 2007 Toyota 4runner with the 4.0 v6. I love this car and I’m sure I’ll absolutely regret selling it, but I bought a 6.2l Sierra so I’m selling off some of my toys. It is an absolute head turner and it gets compliments every single time I drive it.
I bought this car bone stock in September of 2019 with 143k miles and it now sits just over 160k (won’t be going up). I’ve modified it basically since the day I got it, so the parts list is extensive and I’m sure I will miss some stuff.
Audio (installed October 2019):
Pioneer AVH-1550NEX radio with Carplay and steering control integration
JL Audio C1-690x front coaxial speakers
JL Audio C1-650x rear coaxial speakers
JL 8w3v3-4 subwoofer in “stock” JBL system subwoofer box (out of the way and doesn’t take up space, very powerful though)
JL JX500/1D amplifier to power the subwoofer with bass control knob on dash
Blaupunkt 1500w 4-channel amplifier to power the speakers (JL amp went out before a Havasu trip and just picked up an Amazon amp)
Front End (installed August 2020):
Tacoma conversion (aftermarket hood, headlights, OEM grill and hood scoop)
Advanced Fiberglass 4″ flare Tacoma fenders
Aprons/core support cut out and replaced with a tube structure (no rubbing/hitting and better mounting of tacoma swap)
Paint matched front end
Front Suspension (installed September 2020):
BTF Fabrication 4.5″ over each side long travel kit
King 2.5 8″ inch coilovers built to BTF spec
King 2.5 bumpstops
At the time of installation, new wheel bearings, tie rods, brake pads, extended brake lines, and powerstop slotted rotors were installed
All Pro cam gussets
Total Chaos spindle gussets
Cab mount chopped
Poly Performance Taco Tab alignment cam delete kit (prevents knocking out of alignment when offroading)
Poly Performance 10″ Limit Straps
Rear Suspension (installed April 2021):
Califabrication rear 3-link long arm kit
King 2.0 12″ smooth body shocks with remote reservoir and compression adjusters
King 2.0 “shorty” adjustable bump stops (need to be mounted)
Poly Performance 16″ limit straps (need to be mounted)
extended brake lines
Eimkeith panhard correction kit (clears chassis even with the 3-link and shock fully compressed)
Borla ProXS 19″ muffler with 45 degree stainless steel dump (dumped before axle, necessary to clear 3rd link mount)
Spidertrax 1.25″ wheel spacers
Wheels/Tires:
Method MR312 17×8.5 0mm offset (CQuartz ceramic coated prior to mounting)
BFG KM3 285/70-17 (didn’t keep track of mileage but tons of life left)
Full size spare (33″ doesn’t fit in spare location so kept in garage)
Accessories/Other:
Myles Factory Fabrication custom front bumper welded directly to chassis
custom bumper valance with Camburg “king blue” fender washers
Aluminum skid plates on bumper
Prinsu full length roof rack
Cali Raised Dual Function 43″ light bar mounted on rack with individual switches for amber and white
Ebay recovery boards mounted on roof
Quick Fist mounts on passenger side for Shovel and Axe
Cons:
Minor dents/dings on body, it’s an offroad truck after all
Sometimes you’ll hear the sunroof move on its rails on bumpy roads. It’s super common if you hit even light trails and it happened in my first 4runner too
Old rear suspension link mounts can be cleaned up/fully grinded off to make it more pretty
Front door windows stop about an inch early, they come in contact with the speakers. I didn’t measure/check fitment online but it doesn’t cause any issues. I believe you can add spacers and it will clear, but I wasn’t too worried about it
My local alignment shop just did some tire deflection alignment (or something like that) to adjust toe pretty quickly. It’s not perfect but I didn’t mind given it’s a long travel truck and all, it feels fine
Rear passenger door speaker grill cracked and rear passenger side plastic near wheel well cracked from transporting a floor jack back there
Rear shock bodies have gotten a tiny bit of corrosion from docking by jetskis in the bay. Nothing on shock shafts
$27,000.
